Thank you for visiting our class blog.
This post is to let you know that our class will be taking part in the Let’s Sing event at Robin Park Leisure Centre on Tuesday 28th November 2017. Further details regarding timings and transport will follow in due course.
For now, I have given all the children a copy of the words to the songs which the children are expected to learn. I have also now added the music to the songs on this blog.
Year 4 have created a display with advent stars. Each star has a good deed for the children to follow.
Year 4 children learnt about refugees through the pilgrimage led by the Year 6 Faith in Action group.
Year 4 have been learning about the Northern lights as part of our topic ‘The Spirit of Christmas’ we have re created scenes from the Northern Lights using water paint and black card. We think they are amazing and have displayed the work in class! Well done Year 4!
This week in Year 3, we have created a video news report to tell the amazing story of a boy who fell down, down, down and ended up back in the Stone Age.
The class reported on the various things that the boy did on his trip back in time and how he encountered a bear when he was doing cave paintings!
A quite unbelievable story!
Wow! Another exciting week I’m year 3 has come to an end. We have found fractions of amounts in mathematics and been learning about the process of pollination. After all that, we had a tea party (with cakes) to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday! Happy birthday your majesty! 👑🎂☕️
This week in our topic work, we have embarked on our second ‘Giant Step’
We’ve been learning about Poland and even used the expertise of two Year 3 pupils to learn some phrases in Polish! I hope you practise them at home! Do widzenia!
Thanks to all children for their enthusiasm and excitement with World Book Day! We made a Roald Dahl ‘Guess Who’ board game which the children enjoyed playing! (Sorry it is late, I attempted to post this last week :-))
Year 3 hosted a healthy café this afternoon for parents, families and friends of pupils. All the children have worked very hard for a number of weeks to make this afternoon a huge success! We sold healthy cakes, snacks and drinks and even had a raffle with exciting prizes! Well done to everyone in the class and a massive thank you if you visited our café and generously supported our two worthy charities (MNDA and ‘Kitty’ Liverpool Women’s charity).
